Guest or signed in
You never need an account. You'll want one after the first update.
Giving as a guest is a first-class path — we're not holding the checkout hostage for a signup. The account is worth it for one honest reason: it's the address the good news gets sent to.
Follow the journey
Follow a member and their card becomes something you check rather than something you were once sent. Performances, results, practice, the ordinary Tuesdays in between.

What we don't allow
Generosity with the creepy parts removed
The reason a grandparent gives here without a second thought is the same reason a parent said yes in the first place: the platform carries the rules, and can prove it.
You can't message them. Neither can anyone else.
There is no direct-message table in this platform, for supporters or brands, at any price. Your encouragement travels one way — attached to the gift, where a parent can see it too.
Messages are screened before they show
Every note passes an automated screen and anything flagged goes to a human before it appears. For minors in Beta, donation messages reach the parent, never the student directly.
You give to a goal, not to a person's address
No home address, no phone number, no email of a student is ever revealed by supporting them. Minors appear publicly as a first name and last initial.
The progress bar is a ledger query
Every gift, fee and payout is a balanced double-entry line in the same ledger that runs the rest of the platform. The number you see raised is computed from money that actually moved — not a counter someone can edit.

Straight answers
The questions you'd ask before entering a card
- Do I need an account to give?
- No. Guest checkout takes a name, an amount and a card. Sign in first only if you want the goal's updates emailed to you afterwards.
- Can I give anonymously?
- Yes. Clear the name field at checkout and you appear as Anonymous on the supporter list. The member sees the gift, not you.
- Is my gift tax-deductible?
- No. A gift to someone's personal goal is a gift to them, and we label it that way at checkout rather than letting you assume otherwise. Earnings pledged to verified 501(c)(3) organizations are a separate rail entirely.
- What if the goal doesn't reach its target?
- The member keeps what was raised. Goals are all-keep by design — a bow that's 70% funded is still 70% closer than a refund would leave it — and it's disclosed before you pay.
- What can the money actually be spent on?
- Goals are filed against real categories — camp, equipment, travel, fees, lessons, school — with a title and a story, not a free-text wish. Large goals can be asked for simple proof.
- How much can I give?
- From $5 up to $10,000 in a single gift, as often as you like. Presets are $10, $25, $50 and $100 because most people want one tap and not a decision.
